Abstract
The results of long-term strength tests of 12KhlMF steel samples are analyzed. The test samples are taken from tubes that were in operation for 50000 to 200000 h under conditions of creep at a temperature of 545 to 560°C. The greatest change in the long-term strength of the tubes was found to be in the initial period of service (in the course of 50000 to 100000 h), after which stabilization took place.
