Abstract :
An analysis of the solution to the problem of protecting power-generating equipment against downtime corrosion is made. The generalized results of applying protective film-forming amines are described. It is shown that this technology can protect individual items of the equipment containing various metals and also entire power-generating units. During the last ten years this technology found widespread application in thermal engineering in Russia.
