Chemistry Control in NPP PWRs

The paper presents a review of the reports submitted to the workshop on "Chemistry Control in PWRs" by chemists working at European NPPs and by the representatives of research centers for sharing experience in water chemistry at NPPs, including optimization of primary water chemistry during startups and shutdowns, chemical analyses of corrosion products in the coolant, using the effect of hideout return in steam generators, organizing postaccident sampling procedures, quality control of chemicals, and also optimizing the lithium concentration in the coolant.
