Enhancement of the Performance of Advanced Cogeneration Turbines

Enhancement of the performance of advanced cogeneration turbines in operation is considered. The possibility of reducing heat losses in a low-temperature source by decreasing the ventilation steam flowrate in the LP cylinder and by recovering the heat of the exhaust steam and the heat of the steam-water flows discharged into the condenser is shown. Measures for managing regimes are proposed, which should enable the operator to reduce erosion and corrosion damage to the blading.
