Experience in Burning Ekibastuz Coals in the Boilers of the 500-MW Power Units at the Ekibastuz District Power Stations

An analysis of the schemes and parts of the boilers for the 500-MW power units burning Ekibastuz coats is made from the results of mastering and operation of these boilers. The functioning of coal pulverization systems with type MMT and MPS pulverizers and the furnace burners, as well as the economic efficiency of the schemes for burning and the NOx emissions, are considered in detail.
