Abstract :
C60 fullerene powder was shock-compressed up to 57 GPa and a recovered sample was examined by micro-Raman spectroscopy. Most of the recovered sample was disordered carbon with planar crystalline size of 88 Å, but the highly ordered graphite, whose Raman spectrum showed only the G peak at 1580 cm−1 was formed at the cracks of the disordered carbon.
