Abstract
High frequency Raman scattering spectra of (KH2PO4)1−x(KD2PO4)x have been reproduced by a simple addition of KH2PO4 (KDP) and KD2PO4 (DKDP) spectra. Through this procedure we can separate the hydrogen (deuterium) modes from the PO4 internal vibration modes. The frequency ratio of the hydrogen modes to the deuterium modes is 1.37 both in the paraelectric phase and ferroelectric phase.
