Abstract
We study the thermodynamic properties of two-dimensional X Y model with Dzyaloshinsky–Moriya (DM) interaction using Monte Carlo method. Spin configuration of thermal equilibrium and some critical properties are studied for different sizes of DM interactions. We find that DM interaction plays an important role in the two-dimensional X Y spin system.
