Abstract
An EPR investigation has been made of graphite under hydrostatic pressure up to 600 MPa and in the temperature range of 80–300 K. Using the conventional thermodynamical approach to the analysis of g = g ( T , p ) data we extracted information about influence of thermal expansion on the g ( T ) dependence. Separation of the g shift caused by lattice compression from the total g ( T ) dependence makes clear that the Landau level spacing is reduced with diminishing inter-plane distance in graphite.
