ETN values and effective dielectric constants of water/AOT/near-critical propane reverse micelles

The micropolarity of the aqueous core of water/AOT/NC propane reverse micelles has been investigated in terms of ETN value and effective dielectric constant (εeff). No pressure dependence of micropolarity was observed in one-phase micellar solution. However, the micropolarity ranges in εeff from that corresponding to pure ethanol to pure methanol on increasing the water content of micelles.
