Abstract
A method of the immobilization of single-stranded deoxyribonucleic acid has been reported. Octadecylamine and 2′-deoxycytosine-5′-monophosphate could form stable monolayer from the results of the surface pressure isotherms and penetration kinetics on its monolayer. Cyclic voltammetric curves confirmed the self-assembly of dCMP on Pt electrode modified by octadecylamine in two different electrolyte systems. Polypyrrole has been used to improve the electrode electric response.
