Abstract
A series of amphiphilic polymers are designed and synthesized, which are composed of hydrophilic microgels and hydrophobic long chains. They demonstrate various organization behaviors at interface, and form layered structure of so called reversed duckweed. It is found that the lightly crosslinking network is flexible enough to facilitate a high order in thin film fabrication. In addition, this film can be used as matrix for functional assembly.
