Abstract :
The locations of phenothiazine and N,N-diethylaniline (DEA) in CTAB/n-C5H11OH/H2O microemulsion were investigated by cyclic voltammetric and photoionization methods. The phenothiazine molecules exist in the membrane phase of the microemulsion with its N atom or S atom toward the polar head. The DEA molecules are also located in the membrane phase and they are much closer to the polar head in oil/water microemulsions than in water/oil microemulsions.
