Abstract :
A new emission system has been observed in the Ar afterglow reaction of Kr in the 710–720 nm region. It is ascribed to the C1 32 → A1 32 transition of ArKr+. The molecular constants of the C1 32 and A1 32 states of Arkr+ have been determined on the basis of a vibrational analysis.
