Abstract :
A combination of resonant two-photon ionization (R2PI), resonant ion-dip infrared (RIDIR) and infrared-ultraviolet (IR-UV) hole-burning spectroscopies has been used to distinguish, assign, and spectroscopically characterize an otherwise complicated, overlapping set of transitions which all appear in the benzene-(CH3OH)3+ mass channel (m/e = 174) in a one-color resonant two-photon ionization spectrum. Several of the previously unassigned transitions are here assigned to two conformational isomers of (benzene)2-(CH3OH)3 clusters.
