Influence of adsorption on photoinduced electron transfer in supported liquid membranes: the case of C60

Porous polymer membranes modified by the incorporation of a decane mixture of fullerene and phospholipids have photoconducting properties which depend on the nature of the polymer. We show that the mechanism of bilayer lipid membrane formation usually used to explain these photoconducting properties by electron transfer, is not pertinent when explaining the influence of the membrane surface properties on the measured photocurrents.
