Abstract :
The reactions of GeH3 with O2, NO, and NO2 were studied via time-resolved infrared diode laser absorption spectroscopy over the temperature range 232–468 K for O2 and NO, and 252–407 for NO2. The measured rate constants (in cm3 molecule−1 s−1) were kGeH3+O2 = (10−13.18±0.18 exp[(874±146)/T], kGeH3+NO = (10−13.3±0.49) exp[(736±345)/T], and kGeH3+NO2 = (10−11.42±0.16) exp[(276±122)/T]. These results are consistent with formation of a collision complex with little or no entrance channel barrier.
