Abstract :
Vibronic spectroscopy of jet-cooled hydroquinone has been studied in the first excited state using laser induced fluorescence technique. Hole-burning spectroscopy was used to separate the transitions belonging to the individual isomers. Vibrational modes 1, 6a, 7a, 9b, 14, 16a and 16b were found to be active in excitation.
