Abstract :
Two weak vibrational bands, the (8,0) and (8,1) bands of the O2+ A2Πu–X2Πg system, are characterized by laser-induced fluorescence for the first time. Preliminary laser-induced fluorescence (LIF) determinations on the O2+(v=0,1) distributions from the reactions of Ar+ and Xe+ with oxygen are presented.
