Abstract :
We report vibrational constants of the LiHg(X12) ground state from laser-induced fluorescence spectroscopy. Applying a procedure by LeRoy and Bernstein we find the dissociation energy De to be 789±32 cm−1 and the long-range potential coefficient to be (1.8±0.6) × 106 cm Å6.
