Abstract
A theoretical analysis of the effects of salt concentration on solvation dynamics in electrolyte solutions is presented. The theory includes properly the inertial and non-Markovian effects of ions and solvent molecules. A detailed analysis is made of the short-time and long-time parts of the relaxation of the ion-solution interaction energy and the dependence on salt concentration is discussed. The theoretical predictions are found to be in qualitative agreement with the results of computer simulations.
