The cooperative Jahn-Teller effect on a two-dimensional molecular layer

The cooperative dynamical Jahn-Teller (JT) effect on the two-dimensional layer is considered. The layer is constructed from model JT active centers (X3 triangular molecules) ordered in a honeycomb-like lattice. Some electronic properties of the layer relevant to type-II superconductivity are discussed assuming a coherent pseudo-rotational motion of individual JT centers.
