Abstract :
The spin interaction in N-(methyl, ethyl or n-propyl)pyridinium-substituted imidazolin-1-oxyl iodide was discussed based on the crystal structure. Especially, in the n-propyl-substituted derivative remarkably strong one-dimensional antiferromagnetic interaction (J/kB = −120 K) was observed,which can occur through intervention of a hydrogen atom.
