Influence of strong electric field on dielectric permittivity of polycrystalline ice at MHz frequencies

Electric permittivity of polycrystalline ice measured at 5 MHz was found to decrease proportionally to the square of electric field strength. A simple model explaining this property based on a Bjerrum-type attempt is proposed.
