Abstract :
The A 2Π−X2Σ and B2Σ−X2Σ transitions of CaH are observed in a pulsed electrical discharge and after excitation of the 4s4p 3P1 state of Ca by a pulsed laser (657.28 nm). The temporal behavior of these emissions in the electrical post-discharge shows that the excitation mechanisms imply one and two metastable 4s4p 3P states.
