Abstract :
Two new hyperfine-decoupling schemes for electron spin echo envelope modulation (ESEEM) experiments, namely the hyperfine-decoupled combination-peak experiment (DECOM) and hyperfine-decoupled DEFENCE (deadtime free ESEEM by nuclear coherence-transfer echoes), are proposed. The two techniques are compared with known hyperfine-decoupling schemes and nuclear Zeeman-resolved ESEEM. The advantages of the new approaches are experimentally demonstrated in three applications.
