Abstract
Glass transition temperatures (Tgʹs) of aqueous butyltripropylammonium and ethyltripropylammonium chloride solutions were measured. The Tg of aqueous butyltripropylammonium chloride solution shows very anomalous Tg variation with increasing water content. A possible cause for the anomalous Tg behavior was presented in conjunction with hydrophobic interaction in the solution.
