Abstract :
We report the rotationally-resolved excitation spectrum of the LiHg X2Σ+→22II32 transition, the first case among Ia(Li, Na, K, Cs)-IIb(Zn, Cd, Hg) intermetallic molecules. Different vibronic transitions are assinged. A rotational analysis is made for the v″ = 0 → v′ = 1 band, and rotational constants have been obtained.
