Femtosecond pump–probe and grating scattering study of condensed-phase hydrogen-bonding dynamics of complexes of Coumarin 102

We show with time-resolved all-optical spectroscopic techniques like pump–probe and grating scattering that a hydrogen-bond cleavage between Coumarin 102 and several hydrogen donors occurs in 170 fs. We also observe additional dynamics on longer time scales due to reorganization of the solvent shells.
