Photoionization of ammonia

We report the results of separated-channel, frozen core calculations of partial and total photoionization cross sections and asymmetry parameters for NH3. The calculations were performed using the complex Kohn variational method. The results for the total and partial cross sections agree well with experiment as well as previous theoretical calculations. The asymmetry parameters are found to be a more sensitive test of the accuracy of the wave function.
