Abstract :
An isotopically-resolved excitation spectrum recorded at the 10u+(51P1) ← X10g+ transition in Cd2 enables to observe an influence of the nuclear spin I of atomic isotopes and rotational J-number symmetry properties on profiles and intensities of the recorded spectral components. Despite the fact that in the previously reported spectrum a rotational structure was not resolved, for its proper reconstruction it is necessary to include an analysis of the rotational structure, influence of I as well as symmetry of the molecular wavefunction in different rotational states.
