On the reactivity of trimethylgallium with H2O, CH3OH, CH3OCH3, and NH3 in a multiple pulsed nozzle environment

This work reports on the cluster formation of trimethylgallium in the presence of a series of oxygen-containing compounds. Two or three pulsed nozzles are used in combination with laser light (λ=193 nm) as well as NH3. Differences in the reactivity of trimethylgallium with H2O, when compared to CH3OH or CH3OCH3, are observed.
