Magnon–phonon interaction in the one dimensional quantum XY model

In this paper, we study the phonon dynamics of the one dimensional quantum XY model coupled to phonons, using two different approaches: a low temperature approximation for the memory function, and the perturbation expansion in the Green function formalism. We show that at least to the lowest order in the calculation, both methods give the same result for the dynamic phonon correlation function.
