Abstract :
Hierarchical mesoporous carbon particles with bimodal (3.5–4.2 nm and 5–12 nm) could be obtained by starch carbonization and trimodal (3.5–4.2 nm, 6–13 nm and 13–22 nm) mesopores were derived from starch by using colloidal silica particles as template via one-step approach.
