Abstract :
A new inverter plasma device, which is composed of a high voltage inverter power supply and a pair of electrodes, has been developed for plasma processing. Characteristics of the inverter plasma were investigated by measuring the discharge current, the plasma density and the electron temperature, while changing the various parameters for the discharge handling. The results obtained suggest that the plasma parameters in this discharge system can be successfully controlled.
