Abstract
Amorphous WO3 gasochromic films have been prepared by the sol–gel method using tungsten and H2O2 as main materials. The structure and the properties of the films are investigated. The results show that the amorphous WO3 films prepared by this method have good gasochromic properties. WO3 thin films are annealed in ambient air at a temperature of 250, 360 and 450 °C. Surface morphology, microstructure and crystal structure test of the films were analyzed with scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction and transmission electron microscope, respectively. The effect of annealing temperature and content of catalyst on the structure and gasochromic properties were examined.
