Abstract :
In order to investigate the fate of several trace elements in thermal coal conversion, a computer program, MINGTSYS, and a database, GFEDBASE, have been developed. The program minimizes the total Gibbs energy of a multiphase and multicomponent mass balance constrainted system. The program and major results performed with it have been described elsewhere, see Frandsen et al. (1993, 1994).
tabase contains pure substances thermochemical data for approximately 600 chemical species of the trace elements: As, B, Be, Cd, Co, Cr, Ga, Ge, Hg, Ni, P, Pb, Sb, Se, Sn, V and Zn.
s paper, the content of the database, GFEDBASE, is given in an easy-to-use format together with a list of data sources.
