Summary report of XL CALPHAD—Rio de Janeiro, Brasil, 2011

XL CALPHAD—Computer Coupling of Phase Diagrams and Thermochemistry conference was held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, May 22–27, 2011. The conference had an audience of 192 persons. There were 88 oral and 100 poster presentations. tations were divided according to themes: ab initio; the CALPHAD method, and assessments; applications – energy; applications – steel, superalloys, oxides and experiments and databases.
