Abstract :
Polysubstituted 4,5-dihydropyrroles and pyrroles were synthesized from β-carbonyl O-methyloximes via alkylation and intramolecular Michael addition with unsaturated 4-bromobutyrates by treatment with sodium hydride or a sodium alkoxide.
