Abstract :
In order to mimic the complexity of natural products, we designed and obtained with simple synthetic methods, building blocks with `quaternary chiral centersʹ. These tricyclic lactams resulted from the reaction of a functional γ-keto-acid and various commercially available bi-nucleophiles.
