Abstract :
New fluorinated silyl enol ethers with various trialkylsilyl groups were synthesized. Various fluorinated β-hydroxy ketones were synthesized by Lewis acid promoted aldol reaction of silyl enol ethers with diverse aldehydes. Reactivity of various trialkylsilyloxy groups toward Lewis acid was also studied.
