Abstract :
Newly introduced chiral ‘roofed’ 2-thiazolines, prepared from sterically congested, conformationally rigid chiral 2-aminothiols, function as efficient chiral ligands for the asymmetric Diels–Alder reaction of cyclopentadiene and 3-acryloyl-2-oxazolidinone.
