Peptide ligation through click chemistry for the generation of assembled and scaffolded peptides

The synthesis of [1,2,3]-triazoles through copper(I)-catalyzed Huisgen 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition was examined for its utility to generate assembled and scaffolded peptides from peptide and scaffold precursors, which were N-terminally modified with azido and alkyne moieties, respectively.
