Abstract :
Different silylated 1,2-dithiins, obtained through self-dimerization of the related α,β-ethylenic thioacylsilanes, in the presence of AlCl3 show an unusual rearrangement leading in good yields to novel silyl-endodisulfide bicyclic systems.
