Abstract :
The (α-fluoro)vinyl tris(trimethylsilyl)germanes undergo Pd-catalyzed cross-couplings with aryl and alkenyl halides upon oxidative treatment with hydrogen peroxide under basic aqueous conditions to give access to fluoroalkenes and fluorodienes with retention of stereochemistry.
