Abstract :
Two novel glucosyl-fused compounds, namely crassifoside E (1) and crassifoside F (2), were isolated from the rhizomes of Curculigo crassifolia. Their structures were elucidated by spectral analysis. Compounds 1 and 2 displayed ACE inhibitory activity (angiotensin-converting enzyme) with an IC50 value of 10 and 8.5 μg/mL, respectively, by inspecting their fluorescent light.
