Abstract :
Our studies directed towards the preparation of novel steroid-like derivatives using RCM reactions are described. The strategy here described was applied to the construction of novel ring-inserted skeleton-expanded steroid analogs by combination of tandem ring-closing metathesis of lineal dienynes and Diels–Alder reaction.
