Abstract :
An efficient microwave assisted condensation of α-heteroarylamines with 3-dimethylamino-2-aryl-propenoates has been developed to synthesize various fused bi-heterocyclic compounds, including isothiazolo-, thiazolo-, imidazo-, and pyrimido-pyrimidinones as novel MCH1R antagonists.
