Solid-phase synthesis of 3-alkyl-8-arylamino-1H-imidazo[4,5-g]quinazolin-2(3H)-thiones and 3-alkyl-8-arylamino-1H-imidazo[4,5-g]quinazolin-2(3H)-ones

An efficient approach for the synthesis of 3-alkyl-8-arylamino-1H-imidazo[4,5-g]quinazolin-2(3H)-thiones and 3-alkyl-8-arylamino-1H-imidazo[4,5-g]quinazolin-2(3H)-ones on solid phase has been developed. The reaction conditions were readily amenable and the products were obtained in good yields and purities after their cleavage from the resin.
