Abstract :

The first selective reductive amination of carbonyl telechelic oligoisoprene (CTPI) using NaBH(OAc)3 as the reducing agent is described. An access to tri- and tetrafunctionalized oligoisoprenes is realized in two or three steps from CTPI in high yield.
